Fritz Stuchlik (* 11. February 1966 in Vienna ) was an Austrian FIFA - referee .

Act

Stuchlik began his career as a referee in 1982. From July 1992 to December 2009 he was Austrian Bundesliga referee. From January 1, 1994 to December 31, 2009 he was also a FIFA referee.

Stuchlik directed 89 international games and 267 games in Austria's top division (as of December 31, 2009). At the end of 2009, Stuchlik officially resigned from his status as FIFA referee.

He also takes care of the training of new referees at the Vienna Football Association . Fritz Stuchlik's main job was as a secretary at the ÖFB . His activity was terminated by mutual agreement in March 2018.

Fritz Stuchlik set two records on April 25, 2009 in the match between SV Mattersburg and Kapfenberger SV (3: 1): The game lasted 106 minutes and Stuchlik distributed 13 yellow cards and one yellow-red card.

To this day, Fritz Stuchlik is also the only referee who showed Ryan Giggs a (yellow) red card in his more than 1000 professional games.

In the course of his career he was in a total of 316 league games in the two top Austrian football leagues in action, showing 1211 yellow, 58 yellow-red and 64 red cards. In the 316 games he pointed 40 times at the penalty spot.
