Fritz Trenkle

Fritz Trenkle (* 1920 in Regensburg , † 1996 in Freising ) was a German radio technology specialist.

Life

He headed for the Air Force of the Armed Forces during the Second World War, a repair workshop for up to 1944 radios . In the last year of the war he worked as a developer in aeronautical radio research and worked on radio navigation and radio measuring equipment .

After the war, Trenkle worked in industry in the field of commercial radio technology and from 1960 until his retirement in 1983 at the German Research and Research Institute for Aerospace (DFVLR) as a group leader in the field of equipment for research aircraft . He was also the author of numerous works that deal with radio measurement and radio interference methods.
