Fritz Wolff (archivist)
Fritz Wolff (* 1936 ) is a German historian and archivist .
Wolff received his doctorate from Konrad Repgen at the University of Bonn in 1964. His research initially focused on researching the history of the peace between Münster and Osnabrück . Later he turned to the history of religion and the Reformation , cartography and the history of Hesse .
From 1965 he worked at the Marburg State Archives , later taught at the Marburg Archive School and since 1974 as a lecturer at the Philipps University in Marburg . From 1994 to 2001 he headed the Marburg State Archives.
