The Frohnberg is an elevation in the Niederbergisches Land has a height of approx. 226  m above sea level. NN . The summit location is largely built up with the Velbert district of Frohnberg of the Langenberg district of the same name , which extends on the southern and eastern mountain flanks down into the Hardenberger Bachtal and the Deilbachtal , as well as the locality of Bohnenbusch .

The Frohnberg is one of the elevations of the ridge and the natural spatial unit Vossnacken , which is listed in the manual of the natural spatial structure of Germany with the order number 337 1 .11. The annual average temperature is approx. 10.4 C.

The mountain is framed in the southwest by the Brandenberger Bach and in the northeast by the Wewerbeek brook . In the northwest, the Frohnberg, only separated by a shallow depression, merges into the elevation 226.4 near Pollen , over which the Hilinciweg trail runs.

The Vossnacker Straße crosses the Frohnberg. The remaining parts of the summit are forested or used for agriculture. Beyond the Deilbach, the Hordtberg with the transmitter Langenberg and the Löper Berg rise, but they are not part of the Vossnacken.
