The village church is a listed church building in Massow , a district of the municipality of Eldetal in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). Together with four other churches, it belongs to the parish of Massow in the Neustrelitz Propstei of the Evangelical Lutheran Church District Mecklenburg of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany .

History and architecture

The building was built in 1842 in the neo-Romanesque style from field and brick. The walls are structured by round-arched brick- framed windows with colored lead glazing and a circumferential toothed frieze at the height of the eaves . The building forms a polygonal closed rectangle, the square tower top was built in brick. It is structured by sound openings and its pyramid roof is crowned with a cross.

The churchyard is surrounded by a dry stone wall. Among other things, there are 24 tombstones of those from Lücken on it.
