Bondage
A Fronbote ( vRone bode, Bodel, budellus, büttel, praeco etc.) was in the Middle Ages , first enforcement officials of a count , then generally the court usher ( beadle , Weibel ), who was also entrusted with administrative tasks, u. a. with collecting taxes. In a number of cities the corvee was also found as a judge in petty matters ; Sometimes he supervised - as part of the "good policey" - the city prostitutes ('Hurenvogt'; horenvaget ).
