Frowald Gil smelter

Frowald Gil Hüttenmeister (born March 2, 1938 in Remscheid ) is a German Judaist .

Life

Hüttenmeister studied in Germany, Austria and Israel. In 1970 he received his doctorate from Saarland University . Hüttenmeister worked as a lecturer in Jewish Studies at the universities of Tübingen , Duisburg , Wuppertal , Paris and Haifa . In addition to translations, Hüttenmeister published his research on Jewish cemeteries .

Hüttenmeister is the father of the Judaist Nathanja Hüttenmeister .
