Fuat Hulusi Demirelli

Fuat Hulusi Demirelli (* 1876 in Istanbul ; † November 23, 1955 ibid) was a Turkish lawyer, writer and member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey . He was parliamentary leader of the Democratic Party and between 1918 and 1921 the fifth grand master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Turkey .

Life

Demirelli spent his childhood in Lebanon , where he attended elementary school in Tripoli and middle school in Beirut . He trained as a lawyer in Istanbul at the Istanbul Hukuk Mektebi (German: Istanbul Judicial School). After various activities as a public prosecutor and judge, he retired in 1939 and then worked as a freelance lawyer until his death.

Demirelli, who was one of the founding members of the Democratic Party, was elected to parliament in 1946 and 1950, where he represented his party as group leader.
