Fujitsu Electronics Europe (FEEU) (until January 1, 2016: Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe ) is a subsidiary of the Japanese semiconductor manufacturer Fujitsu Electronics Inc. (FEI). For over 30 years, FEEU has been developing and selling a wide range of semiconductor products in the automotive , communications , multimedia , industrial and graphics solutions sectors with its European headquarters in Langen . In addition, Fujitsu Semiconductor acts as a contract manufacturer ( foundry ) for semiconductor companies without their own production. In the meantime, the former Fujitsu development department has been transferred to the two external companies Cypress and Socionext; With effect from February 28, 2015, 195 employees switched to the newly founded Socionext.

In its new role as a pure distribution company, FEEU is concentrating on the sale of semiconductors and complex electronic solutions.

In September 2018, the Japanese Kaga Electronics Co., Ltd. and Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited announced that Kaga Electronics has acquired 70% of the shares in Fujitsu Electronics Inc. Kaga Electronics plans to acquire the remaining 30% of the shares held by Fujitsu Semiconductor by the end of 2021.
