Fujiwara no Morosuke

Fujiwara no Morosuke ( Japanese 藤原 師 輔 ; * 908 ; † 960 , also known as Kujō Morosuke ). Morosuke's father was Fujiwara no Tadahira (880-949). Morosuke was the founder of the Fujiwara branch Kujō-ryū , from which the Kujō family later descended. He was the father of Fujiwara no Kaneie .

In 959, Kujo Morosuke financed the construction of a building that would later become the famous Kitano Shrine in Kyoto .

Morosuke managed to marry off his daughter Anshi ( 安 子 , also read Yasuko) to Emperor Murakami . Her sons became the emperors Reizei (967–969) and En'yū (969–984).
