Fuling mausoleum
The Fuling Mausoleum ( Chinese 福 陵 , Pinyin Fúlíng ) is the tomb of Nurhaci ( Qing Taizu , 1558–1626) and his wife Monggo (i.e. the Empress Xiao Ci Gao of the Yehe Nara clan ( 孝 慈高皇 后 叶赫 那拉氏 ), 1575-1603). It is located in northeastern Shenyang in northeast China's Liaoning Province and is also called the Eastern Mausoleum ( Dongling ). It was built from 1629 to 1651. In front of him lies the Hun He River , behind him the Tianzhu Shan Mountains , a branch of the Changbai Shan .
It has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (3-257) since 1988 and on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2004 .
