Wireless socket
In a wireless socket (radio switch or radio relay) is an electronic apparatus for the remote control of the power supply of household appliances, under the respective country mains voltage to operate.
For control purposes, a non-encrypted radio signal is usually sent using a remote control in the 433 MHz ISM frequency band .
This is how the radio-controlled socket differs from modern garage door openers, which encrypt their signal using a rolling code . This means that the radio-controlled socket is not tied to a specific remote control. In addition to conventional two-way relays , some sockets also have a control option that allows a dimming function .
