Furuholmen (Vaxholm)
Furuholmen is an island belonging to Sweden in the Stockholm archipelago .
The island belongs to the municipality of Vaxholm and is located east of the island of Edlunda . To the east lies the Gröna Jägarna archipelago . The shipping route from the Baltic Sea to Stockholm runs north and south of Furuholmens .
Furuholmen has several buildings and is partly forested. The island extends from north-west to south-east for about 300 meters, with a width of up to 160 meters. The Furuholmen brygga jetty is located on the northern tip of the island. Furuholmen lighthouse is on the western tip .
