Grona Jägarna

Gröna Jägarna is a group of islands belonging to Sweden in the Stockholm archipelago .

The group is located southeast of Tynningö in Långholmsfjärden and belongs to the municipality of Vaxholm . It consists of the three small islands Kattholmen , Storholmen and Tumlaren , which stretch in a row from west to east, whereby the total length of the row is only about 500 meters. The largest of the islands, 130 meters long, is Storholmen, followed by Tumlaren. All three islands are built on with buildings that are mainly used as summer houses. The Swedish name Gröna Jägarna means green hunter in German .

The ship passage from the Baltic Sea to Stockholm runs south and north of the archipelago .
