The Futuroscope is an amusement park in France dedicated to the media technologies of the future. It is located in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou , near Poitiers . Old and new films are shown in the many different cinemas.
The main attractions of the Futuroscope include:

- Water features
- Cyber avenue
- Gyrotour (observation tower, 48 m)
- Multimedia center (with VR games)
- CyberMedia (free internet café )
Futuroscope was several times a stage of the Tour de France as well as the venue of the Electronic Sports World Cup in 2003 and 2004.
As of January 2019, a space roller coaster and a 6000-seat arena for sporting and cultural events are planned for the future.
