Gábor Kis

Gábor Kis (born September 27, 1982 in Eger ) is a Hungarian water polo player .

The 1.94 m tall center played at Budapesti VSC until 2004 , then spent 4 years with Brendon-ZF-Eger and then switched to Vasas Budapest . In 2000 and 2003 he won the Hungarian Cup with BVSC, in 2007 with Eger.

In 1999 Kis was third in the European Junior Championship with the Hungarian junior team, and in 2001 the team repeated third place at the World Junior Championship. Kis has been part of the Hungarian national water polo team since 2006, and in 2006 the team came second in the European Championship. The team also took second place at the 2007 World Cup . At the 2008 Olympic Games , the Hungarians won the final against the team from the United States and became Olympic champions.
