Gäbhard (music project)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gäbhard (spelling partly GÄBHARD) is a solo project by the musician Thomas Gäbhard in the field of electronic music .

Since 1996 Thomas Gäbhard has been working as Gäbhard on his synthetic instrumental sound paintings . He uses electronic music to implement memories and ideas. Inspired by his long-distance travels ( Nepal , Irian Jaya , Peru , Indonesia , Ecuador , Mexico , USA , Burma , Iceland etc.), which he captures as a photographer , spherically dense sound structures emerge, which are especially in connection with his photos, slide and video projections offer an impressive experience for the eyes and ears.

In 1997 Gäbhard released his first album Breath of Fading Moments with the motto: “In the grandeur of the landscape lies the natural power and charisma, which in all its diversity delights the inclined viewer with a feeling of relaxation and tranquility. With my pictures I would like to revive at least a touch of these fading moments. "

The second album Jalan Jalan followed in 2010 - again with a richly illustrated CD booklet showing his photographic work.
