The Göhlensee is a 45 ha large pond on the territory of the municipality Schenkendöbern in the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg . The approx. 10 m deep, 2 km long and up to 400 m wide lake is located south of Göhlen , a district of the Neuzelle community , and northwest of Groß Drewitz , a district of the Schenkendöbern community. Since May 1st 1968 it has the status of a landscape protection area .
