Gökhan Meral (born June 26, 1991 in Aşkale ) is a Turkish football player .

Player career

Meral began with club football in the youth department of Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK and then went through the youth teams of Kocaelispor . In 2009 he was accepted into the professional squad here.

Favored by the fact that the club had to surrender almost all of its players through debt, the departures were supplemented by players from the youth and reserve teams. So Meral also gained a regular place.

After two years he was handed over to Körfez FK , the club that was originally supposed to be the successor club of Kocaelispor .

After Meral had been active for Körfez FK until the summer of 2014, he moved to the second division club Orduspor .

For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to his previous club, which had since been renamed Kocaeli Birlikspor .

He played for Orduspor until January 2016 and then moved on to third division side Tokatspor . In summer 2016 he returned to Kocaeli Birlikspor one more time.

In the summer of 2017 he was signed by the second division Adanaspor ,
