God Paulus "Vicke Hallon" Blomqvist (born January 11, 1928 in Södertälje ; † February 28, 2003 there ) was a Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
At club level, Göte Blomqvist played exclusively for his hometown club Södertälje SK . From 1946 to 1962 he entered with his team in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league. In 1953 and 1956 he won the Swedish championship with his team .
International
For Sweden Blomqvist took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , where he won the bronze medal with his team. As the best European team, Sweden also became European champions. He was also in his country's squad at the 1953 and 1954 World Championships . At the 1953 World Cup he won the gold medal with Sweden and was also European champion with his country. At the 1954 World Cup, he and his team won the bronze medal.
