The Göteborg City Arena is a partly temporary race track on Frihamnspiren in the former free port area of Göteborg .

The only street circuit in Sweden was opened in 2008 with the run of the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) and the TTA-Elitserien (Swedish Racing League).

The route is around 1540 meters long, the longest straight is 650 meters. The total of 13 curves include two hairpin bends that are located at the end of the circuit. The grandstands, some with seats, offer space for more than 45,000 spectators. In June 2014, the race track will again host the Gothenburg City Race weekend with the STCC series, the Porsche Carrera Cup and the Renault Clio Cup .

The northern part of the route in the area of ​​the hairpin bend with the grandstand is used as a go- kart track all year round .
