Güney Akcicek (born January 26, 2000 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Akcicek began his career at FC Dornbirn in 1913 . For the 2014/15 season he came to AKA Vorarlberg . In May 2016 he made his debut against WSG Wattens for his home club Dornbirn in the regional league . By the end of the 2015/16 season, he played two games in the third-highest division. In the 2016/17 season he came again to two missions for the Dornbirn.

For the 2019/20 season he moved firmly into the squad of the club, which has now been promoted to the 2nd division . He made his debut in the 2nd division in June 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Elvir Hadžić in the 90th minute against Kapfenberger SV on matchday 21 of that season . For the 2020/21 season he switched to third-class Dornbirner SV on loan .

National team

In November 2014 Akcicek played a game for the Austrian U-15 team .
