Günsa ( Chinese  昆莎 乡 , Pinyin Kūnshā Xiāng ) is a municipality in Gar County in the Ngari Administrative District in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . Günsa has an area of ​​approx. 3630 km² and in the year 2000 at the census 1705 inhabitants (population density 0.5 inh / km²), mostly Tibetans . The seat of the municipal government is the village of Garzhongsarba.

In Günsa highland barley (Qingke), wheat and rape are grown and yaks , sheep and goats are kept as cattle. Ngari-Günsa Airport , located in the municipality's administrative area, also plays an important economic role as an employer in the service sector.

Administrative structure

Günsa is made up of three villages. These are:

  • Village Garzhongsarba (噶尔新村), seat of the municipal government;
  • Namru village (那 木 如 村);
