Günter Eymold

Günter Eymold (born April 17, 1959 in Schnaittach ) is a former German football player .

In his youth he played for 1. FC Schnaittach. In 1974 he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg , where he was used in the B and A youth in the position of Libero . In the 1979/80 season he played three second division games for the club. In 1982 he moved to KSV Hessen Kassel , where he scored 12 goals in 38 second division games. After only one year, Branko Zebec brought him to Eintracht Frankfurt . In the first division , however, he only came on two missions. In 1984 the defensive player with a strong header went to VfL Osnabrück . In 1987 his contract was not renewed. In the 1989/90 season he played again for Hessen Kassel, but then had to end his career because of knee problems.

He played a total of 126 second division games, in which he scored 21 goals, and 2 Bundesliga games without scoring.
