Günter Fandel

Günter Fandel (born August 31, 1943 in Cologne ) is a German economist .

Life

He studied mathematics and physics at the University of Cologne from 1964 to 1966 and economics and social sciences at the University of Bonn from 1966 to 1970. In 1970, he passed the examination for a degree in economics in Bonn . After graduating as Dr. rer. pole. At the law and political science faculty of the University of Bonn in 1972 he was appointed full professor for business administration at the FernUniversität Hagen in 1976. On May 24, 2007 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Economics and Behavioral Science at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . Since September 1, 2011 he has been Emeritus .

His main research areas are production and materials management, decision-oriented business administration, the use of multimedia in teaching, multi-criteria decision making, operations research and university planning.
