Günter Kuhnert

Günter Kuhnert (born July 5, 1923 in Breslau ; † November 2010 in Bremen ) was a German foreman and politician ( FDP ) in Bremen. He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Kuhnert completed a commercial apprenticeship and worked as an employee. From 1941 to October 1945 he served as a soldier or prisoner of war in World War II . After that he made his way first as a farm worker in Bremen-Nord. Since 1948 he worked as a foreman at the Bremer Wollkämmerei in Bremen and was a member of the BWK works council.

politics

Kuhnert had been a member of the NSDAP since 1942 and, after the war, the FDP in a local club in Bremen-Nord . He held the North Bremen district chairmanship from 1972 to 1994. From 1976 to 1984 he was deputy state chairman of the FDP.

From 1967 to 1983 with interruptions and from 1987 to 1991 for around 18 years he was a member of the Bremen Citizenship and worked in various deputations and committees of the Citizenship. From 1991 to 1995 he was a member of the Deputation for Sport.

From 1995 to 1999 Kuhnert was a member of the advisory board of the Bremen- Vegesack district for the FDP .
