Günter Rommel
Günter Rommel (born June 18, 1956 in Stuttgart ) is a German football coach . Until November 2009 he coached the SC Freiburg women's team in the 2nd Bundesliga .
Rommel is a trained high school teacher for sports, geography and history. After his career as an amateur footballer, he was youth coach at VfB Stuttgart and the Stuttgarter Kickers from 1983 to 1990 . In 1986 he acquired the A-trainer license. From 1990 to 1995 he was the sports director at TSF Ditzingen , from 1999 to 2001 he was co-trainer of the Stuttgarter Kickers and there also youth coordinator. 2001 to 2005 he coached the SC Pfullendorf .
From January 2006 to January 2008 he was the coach of the women's Bundesliga club VfL Sindelfingen . In September 2008 he took on the same task at SC Freiburg.
