Günther Fritz

Günther Fritz (born July 20, 1956 in Vaduz ) is a Liechtenstein journalist and politician . Since 2015 he has been party president of the Fatherland Union (VU).

biography

From November 1990 until he switched to politics in 2015, Fritz worked for the Liechtensteiner Vaterland . First as a political editor , then from 1995 as editor-in-chief . At the VU party convention on November 13, 2015 in Gamprin , he was elected to succeed Jakob Büchel . With his election as party president, Fritz resigned his post as editor-in-chief. Patrik Schädler became the new editor-in-chief .

Fritz is a member of the board of directors of the Vaduz media company . He has been married to Andrea Fritz-Wohlwend since 1985. Together they have three children, a daughter and two sons. The family has lived in Schellenberg since 1995.
