Günther Helmuth Ruddies

Günther Helmuth Ruddies (born February 1, 1928 in Insterburg ) is a German psychologist and writer .

Ruddies studied pedagogy and psychology and received his doctorate as Dr. phil. From 1972 he worked as a lecturer in teacher training and adult education. In addition to several educational theoretical works and guides, he published numerous mostly humorous stories, many of which deal with the inhabitants of his native East Prussia . His books have won several literary prizes, including a. In 1994 he received the Narrator Award of the East German Cultural Council Foundation. Two of his specialist works were also published in Estonian and Spanish.

Ruddies lives in Stuttgart and is a member of the Esslingen Artists' Guild .
