Günther Lorenz (born September 17, 1915 ; † 1999 ) was a German figure skater .
Career
At the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 , he finished 18th in the men's singles . At the World Figure Skating Championships in 1938 , he finished eighth. He was also German runner-up behind Horst Faber in 1937 and 1938 . After his career he worked as a trainer for Ernst Baier and Maxi Herber .
