Günther Neufeldt

Günther Neufeldt (born January 28, 1956 in Hildesheim ) is a German television journalist.

Career

Günther Neufeldt was trained at the German School of Journalism in Munich. He also studied law, politics and communication science.

After completing his training, he started working as a reporter for NDR radio. In 1987 he switched to RIAS-TV , where he worked as a correspondent in the USA and the GDR.

In 1991 he moved to ZDF , where he presented the ZDF lunch magazine from 1991 to 1999 . He also moderated the country journal and, from 1997 to 2000, the night edition of heute -Nachrichten tonight . In November 2000 he took over the editorial management of the Drehscheibe Deutschland . In this program he was also active as a presenter from 2000 to 2001. In April 2003 he moved to ZDF.reporter / ZDF.reportage , where he was temporarily deputy editor-in-chief. Since the removal of ZDF.reporter in March 2011, Neufeldt has also been working in the editorial team today .

Neufeldt is married and has two children.
