Gürcan Aday (born August 12, 1958 in Çatalca , Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .

Athletic career

Gürcan Aday started his career in 1977 with Galatasaray Istanbul . In his first season for the yellow-reds , the midfielder came to 29 league games. In 1979 he won the Başbakanlık Kupası with Galatasaray . Aday played for Galatasaray by the end of the 1980/81 season in 80 first division games and scored four goals.

For the 1981/82 season, the midfielder moved to Adana Demirspor . There he rose in the 1983/84 season in the 2nd division . The promotion back to the 1st Lig followed in the 1986/87 season. Aday played for Adana Demirspor until the 1989/90 season. In the summer of 1989 he went to Gençlerbirliği Ankara . In December 1990, Gürcan Aday was loaned to Adana Demirspor and retired the following summer.
