Company history
George A. Brittain founded the company in Dublin in 1913 as a car dealership . He sold vehicles from Morris , Lancia and Unic . Automobile assembly began in autumn 1934. The parts came from Morris and from 1935 also from Riley . From 1935 the son Vincent ran the company when George retired to England . He gave up the auto trade.
In 1966 came the merger with Lincoln & Nolan to BLN Motor Company .
vehicles
Have survived secured Morris Eight , 1948 Morris Minor , Morris Oxford MO and serial Morris 1100 . The Minor differed from the original in that the radiator grille and rims were in the same color as the car and the windows had a clover leaf instead of the triplex symbol. In addition, the Mini was created as the Morris Mini Minor.
Forty RMAs were assembled by Riley in 1946 , one of which sold for £ 9,000 in 2014 . The RMB , which was built in England from 1947 to 1952, was also assembled. One surviving vehicle was auctioned for £ 7,700 in 2011. In addition, the elf is narrated. It is unclear whether it was installed before the merger in 1966.
