Product development
In 2001 GAMA used a Quick Heat System for the first time, through which an operating temperature of 200 ° C is reached quickly . Another technical change two years later was the coating of the heating plates with ceramic . This distributes the heat evenly over the entire plate. Another development was laser ion technology , which counteracts static charging of the hair and at the same time protects and cares for it, as ionization prevents the hair from drying out and smooths the structure of the hair surface.
In 2006, the ceramic and ion technology was expanded to include tourmaline coating. Tourmaline increases the antistatic effect and gives the hair shine. Another innovation is the use of far infrared , so-called Far Infrared Heat (FIR). The temperature development with infrared is gentler and resembles warming sun rays. In addition, the heat is transferred directly to the hair. The FIR waves penetrate deep into the hair structure and distribute the heat.
In addition to styling irons , GAMA also produces hair clippers , hair dryers and curling irons. There have also been technical developments with the last-named products: In 2007, GAMA developed a halogen hair dryer that works on the basis of FIR and thus enables hair to be dried quickly and gently. Two years later, the Instant Heat IHT technology was used in the styling irons for better heat development and dissipation, in order to reach operating temperature more quickly and to reduce heat loss or fluctuations.
