Working groups

House organ working group

The house organ working group is a working group within the GDO that is dedicated to the topic of the house organ and for this purpose publishes communications from the house organ working group from 1991 , later the journal Die Hausorgel. This circle is relevant for members who either own a house organ or who are already building or want to build a house organ themselves. A forum is available for self-builders, which serves to exchange experiences and mutual help and thus answers many questions about organ building. A material exchange is also available. Founding member of the GdO, Karl Bormann , called for a merger in the GdO magazine "Ars Organi" in issue 24 of 1964. After an eventful history, the working group was revitalized in 1987 and today has around 370 members. The members enjoy making use of the numerous activities.

Harmonium working group

The harmonium working group with currently around 170 members was founded in 1998 with the aim of referring to the special characteristics of the harmonium and providing information about the game and its possible uses. In addition to the annual issues of the working group, numerous other publications are also available online.
