GEVER

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

GEVER ("Business Administration") is used in Switzerland as a collective term for electronic file management v. a. in public administration and is considered one of the foundations for e-government .

Business management software allows business and the associated documents, addresses and e-mails to be managed. A business or parts of it can be processed in a workflow . The term business control is sometimes used synonymously.

GEVER software was introduced at all three levels of public administration in Switzerland:

  • in certain communities
  • in certain organizational units in individual cantons
  • in certain federal offices and other organizational units at federal level

The "GEVER Bund" program, started in 2008, was completed at the end of 2012. It had - similar to DOMEA in Germany and ELAK in Austria - to develop the organizational and technical basis of electronic business administration in the federal administration, a catalog of requirements, i. H. To develop interoperability , process integration, integral security and legal compliance (rule conformity) as well as to set up a platform for continuous political processes ("cross-departmental processes"). GEVER is based on ISO 15489 and is closely related to MoReq , the standard of the European Commission and the DLM forum.
