The series is based on the novel The Seer by Yys by Alfred Bekker and Wilfried A. Hary.

Basics of the series

The unrestrained application of the so-called Gaarson effect (an ultimate energy production - so named after its discoverer Tipor Gaarson) leads to a collapse in the universe after around 400 years (in the year 2452): A catastrophic, suddenly occurring change in space-time Continuum, starting from the earth, spreading at the speed of light. Significant effect: From this point on, the transmitter technology called GAARSON-GATE is possible. The Gaarson gates, built according to the theoretical specifications of the same Tipor Gaarson, prevent the worst, namely the fall of the earth.

A new age is beginning for mankind. President of the earth for this new age will be the Tipor Gaarson of the present. But mankind suffers from the heavy burdens of the past, and new problems arise: It is discovered that cultures have long since existed far out in space that have benefited from Gaarson Gate technology. A culture that extends over a gigantic planetary empire, the Prupper culture, is particularly dominant. The phenomenon: The Prupper are people!

And there is another problem: What about the old rulers who left the earth in good time before the catastrophe, but who can no longer return with conventional spaceships because they no longer work due to the change in the laws of nature?

action

In an attempted coup on the moon, seven people are banished to an unknown foreign network via a Gaarson gate. You land on a jungle world called Vetusta, which is dominated by a computer. From now on they are in his power. The computer misuses them for field operations that it cannot carry out itself. During one of their journeys, the missing find the gigantic empire of the Prupper, which since the Great War has mainly consisted of self-sufficient planetary units that literally isolate themselves from each other. The Prupper prove to be relentless enemies of humans - and yet they are humans too. As the group fights for their lives, they try to solve the riddle of the Prupper's existence.
