Hary production
Hary-Production is a publishing house that publishes fantastic literature (German science fiction , dark fantasy, horror, mystery, thriller, etc.). The publications appear as notebooks , book novels , e-books and audio books . The publishing house was founded in 1986 by the writer Wilfried A. Hary . The company is based in Zweibrücken .
The publisher Hary-Production sees itself as an underground publisher because it is a purely German-language supplement and alternative to the mainstream dominated by English-speaking countries in the areas of science fiction, horror / mystery and crime / thriller. The publishing program includes 657 titles (print media) and around 600 audio books and just as many e-books (as of November 2011). All issues are always kept available, both in terms of time and quantity. According to the publisher, works by 50 to 60 different German authors have been published so far, including Arndt Ellmer , Alfred Wallon , Alfred Bekker , WK Giesa , Antje Ippensen , Frank Rehfeld , Uwe Anton , Stefan T. Pinternagel , Irene Salzmann , Marten Munsonius , including novels as well as short stories and short stories.
Variety of offers
As early as 1986, Hary-Production was distributing texts in digital form on floppy disks (called "Diskoman" at the time). E-books are now being offered in Portable Document Format (PDF) through internet distributors. A large part of the publishing program has been offered as audio books since 2002. The publisher has been offering parts of its program for Kindle since 2011 .
