Gabriele "Gabi" Reha (born October 22, 1964 in Karlsruhe ) is a German swimmer and Olympic participant .

Athletic performance

The multiple athlete of the year in Karlsruhe, who competed for the SSC , was able to place repeatedly on the podium in the 100 and 200 m butterfly at the German championships .

She started on both routes at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and reached the B final, where she finished 7th and 3rd respectively. With her 2: 13.09 minutes in the prerun over 200 m butterfly she would have come in 8th place in the A final. She was also a member of the 4 × 100 m layer relay . The team ( Svenja Schlicht , Britta Dahm , Gabi Reha and Marion Aizpors ) qualified for the A final and came in 7th there.

Gabriele Reha was married to boxer Sven Ottke and has lived in Sao Charlos in the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil since 2008 .
