Gabriel Bermúdez Castillo (born June 29, 1934 in Valencia ; died May 19, 2019 ) was a Spanish writer . He was considered one of the most important science fiction authors in Spain.

Life

Bermúdez Castillo lived in Zaragoza from 1936 until the 1980s and then moved to Cartagena for professional reasons . Until his retirement he worked full-time as a registered broker and notary.

His first publication, El Mundo Hokun , a collection of five short stories, appeared in 1971. Since then he has published over a dozen novels and volumes of short stories. None of his works has yet been translated into German.
