Charles Gabriel Diodati (born November 24, 1828 in Geneva ; died July 14, 1914 there ) was a Swiss rentier and architect of historicism . He gained importance mainly through his main work, the Palais de l'Athenée .

The son of the Geneva notable Edouard Diodati studied at the Academy of Geneva and in Paris. Already in 1848 at the razing of the Geneva bastions he took part in an ideas competition for construction of the released assets. He often realized his buildings, often residences for the notables of Geneva, together with Charles Schaeck, including his main work, the Palais de l'Athenée, which was built as the seat and museum of the Société des Arts de Genève. In addition to the Geneva residences, he also worked for the Grand d'Hauteville family, especially in Perroy . In 1875 Diodati handed over his office to his successor. From 1856 to 1862 and from 1867 to 1872 he was an officer in the general staff.
