Gabriel Jan Mincewicz
Gabriel Jan Mincevič (born March 25, 1938 in Sužionys , district of Vilnius ; † December 7, 2016 ) was a Lithuanian politician of Polish origin.
Life
In 1968 he graduated from Juozas Tallat-Kelpša-Vilnius Conservatory as a choir - Conductor and 2000, the Master of Theology at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw . From 1968 he worked at the 26th Vilnius Middle School as a music teacher and from 1975 to 1992 in Nemenčinė . From 1992 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas . From 2000 he was a member of the council, from 2007 to 2011 deputy mayor of the district of Vilnius. In 2005 he was the director of the Nemenčinė Culture House.
He was a member of Lietuvos lenkų sąjunga , chairman of the board from 1991 to 1994, then a member of Lietuvos lenkų rinkimų akcija . He headed the “Wileńszczyzna” association.
He was married to his wife Natalija.
