Gabriel Ifeanyi Lundberg (born December 4, 1994 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish basketball player .

career

Lundberg, known in basketball circles by the nickname Iffe, played as a youth for the Stevnsgade club in Copenhagen, then for the Falcon Basketball Club from Frederiksberg and then in the 2014/15 season for the Copenhagen Wolfpack team, a syndicate of several clubs, including Falcon and BMS Herlev. With 17.7 points per game, he was the team's second best scorer in the 2014/15 season. The move to Horsens IC followed within the first Danish league . With the Jutlanders, Lundberg was Danish champion in 2016 and runner-up in 2017. To win the title, he contributed an average of 14.1 points as well as 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in the course of the 2015/16 season. Following the 2016/17 game year, in which he achieved an average of 14.6 points and also prepared 4.2 basket hits from fellow players, he was named the best Danish player in the league by the basketball portal eurobasket.com .

His good performance in the Danish league made foreign teams aware of the development player. Lundberg received offers from Germany, Sweden and Spain. He decided to move to Spanish second division club Bàsquet Manresa during the summer break of 2017 . With Manresa he made it to the ACB league , the highest division in Spain, in spring 2018 . The Dane contributed to this success in 47 missions on average 11.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and two basket assists. He remained loyal to the team after promotion and was also Manresa's top performer in the ACB.

In summer 2020 he moved to Poland to join Stelmet Zielona Góra .

National team

Lundberg competed with the Danish team at the U18 European Championship in 2012, and in 2015 he made the leap to the men's national team.
