Gabriel Rhawi

Gabriel Rhawi (born January 9, 1988 ) is a Swede of Assyrian descent who is currently in the squad of the Swedish second division club Assyriska Föreningen . In his youth he played continuously for Assyriska until he made his breakthrough in the professional squad in 2007. The 1.70 m tall and 64 kg heavy left-footed player is number 17 in midfield and has played a game in the "Superettan" in the current 08/09 season and is therefore only second in the squad. His sister is married to the Gladbach professional footballer Sharbel Touma . His cousin of the same name, who was born on January 1, 1986 and also made the leap into the professional squad of Assyriska, but has now ended his career, is mistaken for him on various football websites.
