Gabriela Adorni , also Gabriella Adorni ( 1878 in Parma - January 16, 1967 in Bologna ) was an Italian opera singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

Life

Adorni became a choir singer at the Teatro Regio in Parma at the age of 15. It was not until 1910 (presumably her stage debut) that she came to work as an opera singer, when she took over the role of "Lola" in the Cavalleria rusticana for a sick singer. A larger audience, they became known after her by the Verdi commemoration in the birthplace Busseto by Arturo Toscanini was selected for large batches. She then worked for years on Italian opera stages, where she acquired an extensive repertoire.
