Gabriela Hug

Gabriela Hug-Glanzmann (born June 22, 1979 ) is a Swiss electrical engineer . She is professor for information technology and electrical engineering at the ETH Zurich .

Live and act

From 1999 to 2004 Gabriela Hug studied information technology and electrical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. This was followed by a doctorate at the Power Systems Laboratory at ETH from 2004 to 2008 . Parallel to the promotion she studied pedagogy of higher education at ETH. In 2008 she worked at Hydro One for one year as an Assistant Network Management Engineer . From 2009 to 2015 she was an Assistant Professor at the College of Engineering at Carnegie-Mellon University . Since 2015 she has been a professor at the Power Systems Laboratory at ETH Zurich.
