Gabriele Rittig (author)

Gabriele Rittig (born June 18, 1971 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author for children and young people.

Life

She attended the hospitality school in Vienna and then worked in the hospitality industry. From 1996 she ran an English picture agency in Austria. During her third maternity leave, she began writing stories for her children. She has been working as a freelance writer and translator since 2003 . She lives with her husband and three daughters in Pressbaum near Vienna.
