Gadjo (born August 16, 1972 in Hamburg ; actually Murat Arslan ) is a music producer and DJ .

Live and act

In 1970 Gadjo's parents emigrated to Hamburg from eastern Turkey. At 17, Gadjo started playing hip-hop , funk and soul . Nine years later he was working in a house club. His first release was “ Besame Mucho ”, which Alexandra Prince gave her voice to on the Hamburg indie label MuschiTunes . Due to its great club success, the single was quickly licensed by the BMG and a video was made.

The next single "So Many Times" followed, also on MuschiTunes, later licensed to various renowned international labels, u. a. Subliminal Records, USA. The track achieved great success and was nominated as "Best Track of the Year" at the House Music Award 2005 and as "Best House Track" at the 2006 International Dance Music Award .

In 2007 Gadjo founded the company "TornTape - Booking & Artists", a company that took over the artist's PR, DJ booking and label work.
