Hortense Haudebourt-Lescot
Antoinette Cecile Hortense Haudebourt-Lescot (born December 14, 1784 in Paris ; † January 2, 1845 there ) was a French painter who made numerous portraits of European nobles . Her works can be assigned to classicism .
Life
Haudebourt-Lescot was a student of the famous portrait painter Élisabeth Vigée-Lebrun and Guillaume Guillon Lethière and later taught herself, including the painter Marie-Ernestine Serret (1812-1884).
Some of Haudebourt-Lescot's works can now be admired in the Musée du Louvre .
