Gaetan Pikinoune
Gaetan Pikinoune (different spelling of the name: Pikioune ; born July 6, 1965 ) is a Vanuatu politician of Nagriamel (NAG) who has been Minister of Finance since 2016.
Life
Pikinoune, who comes from the island of Espiritu Santo , holds a degree in bookkeeping and accounting and was an accountant at Coravi between 1983 and 1986 and an accountant and administrative manager at Nitchiku from 1986 . In the elections of January 22, 2016, he was elected member of parliament for Nagriamel (NAG) for the first time and represents the constituency of Santo Rural in this .
Pikinoune then took over the office of finance minister and minister of economic administration in the government formed by Prime Minister Charlot Salwai on February 11, 2016, which includes Bruno Leingkone as foreign minister and Alfred Mao as interior minister.
